Cornel Schenk -Piano

Cornel Schenk is originally from South Africa and was raised in a musical family. Her parents were in the music business for 25 years. She started with piano at the age of three and taught herself how to play the organ as well. At the age of seven she performed live on the SABC Television in SA. She has won national competitions throughout elementary and high school and performed at many different events. Additionally she started learning how to play the harp and the flute at the age of 11. Cornel has a strong classical background and has a BA degree in Performance Arts from the Pretoria Technicon in South Africa. Currently, in additon to playing professionally throughout Atlanta and North Georgia, as well as at numerous churches, she teaches a keyboard class at five Fulton County Schools. Cornel has also been performing professionally for over 23 years.
